Calgary lasted played on Sunday, wrapping up a three game Southeast road trip. The Flames went 1-2-0 over those three games, with a 7-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday last time out.
The Avalanche and Flames have already played twice this year, with Tuesday being the third and final matchup of the regular season. Colorado took the first two games, winning 3-1 at home on November 25, then 6-5 again in Denver on December 11.
